It is the Gilsangtap Pagoda of Haeinsa Temple, Hapcheon. Gilsangtap means the pagoda of Manjusri. It is located in front of the Iljumun Gate which is the first gate of the Buddhist Temple. It was built for those who died in the civil war in the late of the Unified Silla. Three-story body stands of double-tiered base with a height of 3 m. Records about the pagoda and other small pagodas were founded.

Gilsangtap, pagoda of Manjusri, is a pagoda for memorial of victims, was erected by Hunhyeok, a greater master of Heinsa, in 895 to pray for the happiness of the masters and laymen who fell in the vicinity of Heinsa during the turmoil of the last times of Silla Kingdom. It stands 3 meters in height and its style of three-storied stone is typical of the Silla Kingdom. Records about the pagoda written by a great scholar Choe Chiwon(857~?) and other small pagodas were founded in 1966. (Cultural Heritage Administration, 2014)
